HEAD OF FACILITY
A reputable financial institution requires the services of a very dynamic, results-oriented person to join its operations as Facilities Officer.
The Role
The successful candidate would be required to ensure the smooth uninterrupted operations of key facilities including utilities, electrical and mechanical installations across the institution’s network of premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all premises and related services and utilities (including air conditioners, generators) are in working order, safe and secure at all times.
- Ensure all facilities within the Head Office building are inspected on daily basis and any defects corrected.
- Establish, implement and monitor Service Level Agreements/Maintenance Agreements with suppliers on all relevant services
- Ensure that Services Level Agreements with internal stake-holders on facilities management are adhered to promptly.
- Ensure prompt payments to services providers who are due payments for services provided
- Periodical visit to branches and submission of reports to line Manager.
Qualification:
A University Degree in Facilities Management or related discipline (eg. Estate Management, Land Economy, Building Technology, Architecture or Civil Engineering).
Experience
Five (5) years practical experience in Property/Facilities Management, with at least three years at Supervisory level within the financial services environment.
Skills & Competencies
- A good understanding of the property market as well as Ghana’s building regulations
- Computer literacy in Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Ms. Project
- Good supplier management and negotiation skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Problem solving abilities
- Socially confident
- Should have the capacity to work on weekends when required
